Freight Delivery Inspection Protocol (LTL Shipments)

Please follow this 4-step checklist when receiving palletized equipment deliveries to protect your freight warranty:

Inspect Packaging Outer Shell

Check the carton, shrink wrap, and wood pallets for any crushed corners, tears, or puncture marks before signing.

Verify Piece Count

Count all boxes and pallets against the driver's Delivery Receipt / Bill of Lading (BOL) before accepting.

Note Exceptions on the BOL

If any box shows signs of impact, clearly write "DAMAGED - SUBJECT TO INSPECTION" on the delivery receipt before signing.

04

Notify Fortress Within 48h

Report concealed transit damage with photos to Fortress Logistics within 48 hours for immediate replacement dispatch.
